You want to track and identify people clicking through your campaigns/emails, but your links go to sites which don't have CANDDi tracking on? No problem. We can redirect them through your site - so they still click one link from your email and go to Facebook, for example, but in between they have whooshed through your site and been picked up by your tracking. When you first create a new stream, CANDDi scans through all your existing contacts to see who matches the stream rules. Any contact who fits the criteria is added to the stream. Unfortunately, CANDDi doesn't know when that contact first entered the stream, hence CANDDi defaults to providing the time that the stream was created. Any new Contacts joining this stream after the stream has been created will have the correct time that they joined the stream set. Have more questions? Sometimes in a contact's profile, CANDDi will say they're ‘Assigned to (user not found)’. This happens when the Contact was assigned to a user, then the user was deleted from their account. After you upload your document to CANDDi.download and then attach it to an email, be that bulk or 1-2-1, CANDDi will automatically create a stream for that particular document. If you are a MultiAdmin and have access to more than one CANDDi dashboard, you can quickly and easily switch between them. In the right top corner of your dashboard, right next to the search bar, you will see your company's logo in a circle. If you hover clock on your logo, it will give you a drop-down of all the other dashboards you can access, too. ‘Count: Company Name’ (or ‘Count: any other field name ’) is included because sometimes CANDDi has multiple Company Names for the same visitor. When CANDDi identifies that two website visitors relate to the same ‘real-world’ person then CANDDi will merge these items together automatically. When the contact is unknown, this happens because CANDDi puts a few cookies onto the web browser of every visitor. Every time a visitor on a new web browser visits your site then we create a new Contact. When a visitor comes from multiple web browsers on the same machine then we can join these Contacts together. Before you can track YouTube links using canddi.download, your channel needs a custom URL. You can do this once your YouTube channel is qualified: you need to have had your channel more than 30 days and have 100 subscribers - we can help you with this. There are two ways you can track visitors that come to your website from social media: broadly, or specifically. Broadly: through selecting ‘Social Media - Network Name’, you will be able to pick up anybody who comes from any social media, as long as you choose ‘with any value’; if you choose ‘with any selected value and then put down the name of your target social media platform (e.g., Facebook), it will only pick people up from Facebook. Tags are ‘properties’ of Contacts. They describe certain actions a Contact has undertaken. They include things like ‘identified’ or ‘loggedin’, but you can also tag people with things like their rough geographic location. You can then see all visitors who came from ‘Atlanta, GA, USA’ or ‘Edinburgh, Scotland’. These tags can be used to make ‘Streams’ in order to view Contacts with specific filters. By default CANDDi has an Email Notification trigger on the assigned stream for each user. When a new visitor is assigned to that user then they will receive an email telling them this. If you want to create a stream for PPC visitors, first you need to set up Google Keywords. Once you've set these up, you can go to ‘Create Stream’ to filter your PPC/Adword visitors. If you have received a notification saying someone filled in your enquiry form but you can't find them within CANDDi, here are some reasons why this might be: There are two people associated with one profile. If two (or more) people have used the same computer, CANDDi will add the new information to the same profile. If you are aiming to create a stream based on either your PPC, SEO or keywords you could run into a few problems and find you're unable to do so. As of 2013 Google has encrypted their keywords. With a new search algorithm this prevents analysis of the keywords and because of this we can't create streams based on the keywords you'd choose to use. PPC is also encrypted however we can still gather the information needed, meaning we can build streams based on your PPC campaigns. Have more questFew readersDo pop-up blockers block CANDDi Capture?
The short answer is no. Although it may appear to behave like a pop-up ad, technically CANDDi Capture works in a different way. Pop-up adverts actually open in a new ‘window’, whereas CANDDi Capture is within your own site -- the same way your own forms on the site would work. Have more questions? There can be a few reasons why one person with the same name and email address are appearing more than once in CANDDi: A colleague has sent an email via outlook or Gmail to multiple people. This will cause CANDDi to think everyone who follows the link is the same person, as the outlook or Gmail plugin will only track 1-to-1 emails. A colleague has forwarded the email with tracking in it. A 1-to-1 email was sent but the recipient has forwarded the email onto people thus causing CANDDi to pFew readersWebhook Trigger

If you make a CANDDi Capture live, then realise you’ve made a mistake, you can go back and change it. However, it may appear the capture hasn’t changed. This is because it is cached (read - saved) on your computer for two hours. New visitors to the site will see the rectified Capture, but old ones will see the old Capture for up to two hours. From your dashboard, click the ‘Identify’ tab and select ‘CANDDi Capture’. You will then see a tab on the top left-hand side of the screen which says ‘+ new capture’. Select this tab. You may have noticed in the ACTIVITY section of a profile, the coloured tabs that run down the left hand side of a visitors website activity. These colour changes indicate a new ‘session’. A ‘session’ is determined when a visitor has first come onto the website in any given period without already visiting. If a visitor is inactive but on your site for more than 30 minutes, any subsequent activity will be considered a new session. You can do this either by using the excludes modal or from within the individual contact profile. Click on the contact profile to open it in the detailed view, and scroll down to the ‘ACTIONS’ widget, and click the Prospect button. Click the ‘EXCLUDE CONTACT’ button, and that contact will no longer be visible in any of your streams, except the excluded stream. If you want to be able to see which adwords campaign your visitor came from, you'll have to use Google’s ValueTrack parameter to force Adwords to pass the keyword that triggered the ad. CANDDi tracks individual computers. The first time that a computer (contact) comes to your website, we place a long lasting cookie on their machine. Each contact displayed on the dashboard represents a new distinct machine. Therefore there are two options why multiple Contacts show with the same company: The most likely: These are TWO people from TWO different computers. In this case CANDDi is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do - showing you both visitors from the same company.Few readersMap & Location
When CANDDi displays a person's location within the map, it is based on 2 things: their postcode, or their IP address. This means the accuracy of these maps can vary. If the profile has a static IP address (company), then the company data will normally be correct and therefore will show the location of the company. However if the company has a registered location of a Head Office, yet the person visiting is from a branch, CANDDi will display the Head Office location. When exporting data from a stream, you need to select the drop-down menu located in the top right of the dashboard. Then press ‘EXPORT STREAM’ and a pop-up will appear. In the CANDDi profile, you can get a quick idea as to where your prospect or client has come from. This could be a google search, an AdWords click, or a marketing campaign, for example. One of the ways CANDDi obtains Company Identified and Location information is by using IP Lookup, however this is only an approximation; certain edge-cases are not accurate. This article looks at these edge-cases and how you can ‘train’ CANDDi to improve relevance for your organisation. When a visitor arrives on your website then CANDDi will perform a reverse IP lookup. Streams and Tags are two hugely beneficial features of CANDDi that enable you to filter and identify the most relevant visitors to your website.
