Why are there multiple contacts with same company?
CANDDi tracks individual computers. The first time that a computer (contact) comes to your website, we place a long lasting cookie on their machine. Each contact displayed on the dashboard represents a new distinct machine.
Therefore there are two options why multiple Contacts show with the same company:
The most likely:
These are TWO people from TWO different computers. In this case CANDDi is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do - showing you both visitors from the same company.
The other option:
As these are two different browsers, potentially this is one person with two different browsers on the same machine. We see this a lot with developers but rarely with ‘real people’.
This is very different to ‘IP lookup’ competitors. These companies track the IP addresses browsing your side and hence are unable to distinguish between one visitor doing 100 visits and 100 visitors doing one visit
