How can I use the contact data CANDDi gives me?

This is a potentially confusing area and will vary dependent on:


  • Person Status e.g. Prospect or Customer
  • Contact method e.g. Direct Mail, Telephone, Email, SMS, Re-marketing, Social Media etc.
  • Person Type i.e. If contacting on a B2B or B2C level
  • Collection method i.e. via CANDDi Capture, Website Enquiry, Click Through


Person Status


Irrespective of contact channel or person type if the person identified is a customer there are no restriction on how you are able to contact that individual (over and above standard Direct Marketing legislation).


When a contact is not yet a customer and therefore a prospect this becomes more complicated as the permitted contact method will vary dependent on contact channel.
